It's possible. Screening is through written application and applicant interviews regardless of applicants’ high school; both general and vocational high schools. Acceptance will be determined by the applicants' willingness to learn Korean, their scholastic ability and their financial ability to study abroad. Any high school graduates over the age of 18 can apply.

Undergraduate school begins in March(spring semester) and September(fall semester). The application for the spring semester entrance is in December(previous year) and for the fall semester, applicants need to apply in June. Applicants must have TOPIK (Test of Proficiency in Korean) level three or higher. Please contact the admission office for more details. (TEL : +82 2-2610-4123)

Anyone who is taking a regular course in the Korean Language Center can use the dormitory for accommodation. For the dormitory application, contact the representative in the Korean language center. Dormitory expenses are 920,000 won for four months stay. (one room for three people, and dormitory fees can vary each year) Please contact the dormitory staff for details. The Korean language center of Sungkonghoe University has a variety of special activities including Korean cooking, Taekwondo or watching traditional performances. Also, the welcome reception allows students to get close to their teachers and fellow students. Students can improve and test their speaking and writing skills through Korean Language Speech and Writing Contests. We also have the Buddy Program through which the language students can meet Sungkonghoe University students, experience more Korean culture and practice Korean language conversation.

You can apply by email scan or fax. However, the original documents of graduation diploma (or enrollment certificates), bank certificates of deposit, and identity guarantees must be submitted later.

Regular course students in the Korean Language Center can use the library. You can get a library card within a week after having applied for it. Then the library is freely available.

Short-term visa holders are eligible to enter the Korean language Center. However, people from some countries* are restricted. Holders of a tourist visa (C-3-2), a medical tourist visa (C-3-3), and a general tourist visa (C-3-9) are also restricted.
